A swamp on the edge of the Jixa region, reached from Valley Crossing, the Outskirts of Jixa or The Marsh.
The mire is open PvP and you cannot log out safely here, so it is not a place to leave a character standing. There is no mana node, no shrine and no boss spawn.
Ranunculus and diseased trees grow through the water and will attack anyone wading past. The Xoenta Tree, the spirit and sentinel of the swamp, stands here and is the only friendly presence in the area.
