Getting it
Walk up and use it. Worth knowing because the old rules are still written about elsewhere: this node used to appear only while every room in the fey forest shared the same karma, it stayed up for thirty seconds at a time, and it lashed out at anyone whose karma did not match. All of that is switched off on this server — the node is created with the room and stays put.
Melding
Stand within three squares of the node and use it. The bond raises your maximum mana by three points plus one for every ten points of Mysticism above five, so between three and eight depending on how mystical you are. You can bond with each node once, and the game will list the ones you hold if you ask.
